#LeicaTips – Creating Mystery & Intrigue ✔️ Create silhouettes. This is probably the easiest way to add a bit of mystery to your photos as no detail can be seen in the subject, leaving the viewer intrigued about what or who they’re looking at and thus creating a longer-lasting impression. ✔️ Hide your subject’s face. Photographing your subject from behind in combination with an interesting backdrop adds mystery. Getting them to wear a bulky jacket additionally forms a strong shape against the background, making for a captivating shot. ✔️ Use selective focusing.
