My mother and my children. The perfect representation of what today means to me. Motherhood is an incredible responsibility and privilege. One I appreciate more and more the older I get. There is an amazing history of women holding together families and societies with their unpaid work and selfless love. You don’t really know what you are getting into when you become a mother, but you do the best you can with what you have. To all the mothers out there take a moment to give yourself credit for all you do, for all your work and efforts and for helping shape the lives of those under your roof.
