Before taking off to Ukraine each day, our team would make the most delicious 🤤 breakfasts in the morning to share with all people coming through the border (into Ukraine from Poland) . They have been sitting in the mile+ long line of cars for 3-4 days before they were let through. These are our happy highlights. Coming back and seeing the same faces next day that were so happy to get fresh hot Chocolate and a super drink that United probably the entire camp as well —— it’s called CHAI ! My goodness .. I can’t begin to describe you how incredible it is - Chacha ( everyone’s favorite uncle ) would cook all day starting 7am until probably about 9pm .. This man is a Saint I’m convinced - and the Chai he makes- nobody’s chai will ever compare - because he puts his love into it and you just feel it with every Sip. @zhuchkin and I fell in love with everyone the moment we arrived to the border. Through hundreds of very emotionally difficult moments, we had as many miraculously beautiful moments as well. Friendships that I’m convinced will last a lifetime
I’m so so so proud of our tireless suoercamp at Medyka
