Full time 24/7.
Stand up again and again.
Tired.
Messy.
Sloppy.
Sometimes wearing two shoes that don’t match.
Snot on a collar (mostly not ours).
Wiping noses.
Cleaning up grubby feet.
Kissing boo boos.
Packing lunches.
Holding space.
It can often be a thankless job.
Until later so I hear.
Keep it up.
We are the rockstars.
Every being on this planet has come from one of our wombs.
We should be celebrated and cherished.
