It’s hard to want to post anything right now. I don’t think anyone needs to see or feel the heaviness and tragedy any more than they already do. But posting anything normal or even positive seems callus and tone deaf to say the least.
In my most difficult times I often do a gratitude list. It is one of the strongest tools I have found in my life. It doesn’t negate the problems but it helps guide my eyes and my thoughts to the small buds on the trees or the sound of the birds so that I don’t only see the darkness.
I am grateful there are so many people in this world willing to get up and fight, donate, speak out, house, transport, aid by whatever means they have available to them beautiful Ukraine and it’s people and animals. It gives me hope in humanity.
I am grateful spring is coming and despite everything there will be flowers.
And for my own experience I am humbled and grateful that at 45 I still get to work with these amazing artists and talents. As well as with this gorgeous and diverse group of stunning, strong and interesting women.
Thank you @alexandermcqueen#sarahburton#stevenmeisel#camillanickerson@mmparisdotcom@patmcgrathreal@guidopalau@jesshallettcast@models1 ….. and everyone involved, there was not enough space to tag everyone unfortunately.
And with this and every moment my prayers are with all those in conflict and suffering. But most especially to beautiful Ukraine. 🇺🇦
