When I was diagnosed last year
I was made to feel like
My days were counted,
But instead I am counting the days!
I’m not Dying,
I’m Living.
And as @oprah once said;
“Challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new center of gravity. Don’t fight them. Just find a new way to stand.”
Everyday I learn to find my balance and a new way to stand.
This is what it looks like to be terminally ill…
Someone that’s
dying to live
and
hoping that the fight to keep them living is the same.
