THIRTY AND THRIVING: Happy birthday @karliekloss! Let's take a moment to remember the lanky, bright-eyed, bushed-tailed teenager who was plucked from suburban St Louis and plopped into the middle of the international fashion swirl. You baked cookies and brought them to set. You sent handwritten notes after shoots. You stayed late, got the picture, never moaned once. Fifteen years ago, I appointed myself your big brother and thought I’d teach you everything about life. What I didn't expect is that I'd learn so much from you. I’ve watched you grow into a good person, a great mother, and a wonderful friend. We've had many adventures: From Paris fashion week to Machu Picchu, from Burning Man to our favorite trip—taking our kids (!) home to St. Louis. You’ve done so much in your first 30 years: I’m not sure if I’m more impressed by the Vogue covers or the scholarship camps that encourage young women to embrace careers in math, science and coding. Happy 30th, may this be your best year yet! ❤️
