🏴 Did you know that The Prince of Wales is known as The Duke of Rothesay when in Scotland?
Yesterday, His Royal Highness toured Melsetter House in Hoy, Orkney and saw the work of architect William Lethaby, a prominent figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement who helped turn Melsetter House into one of the finest houses in Hoy.
While in Orkney, The Duke of Rothesay also visited YM Hall, Longhope where he was introduced to community groups, including representatives from the Scapa Flow Museum and @RNLI in Longhope, to hear about the fantastic work they do in their local community.
Finally, in Rogart The Duke of Rothesay reopened a former Auction Mart which has been refurbished and converted into a music and cultural venue for the whole community to enjoy.
