#005- March 11, 2009: I’ve always loved @janefonda -everything about her....everything! But to even fathom her welcoming me into her circle - not ever a thought - we became close during the beautiful Moises Kaufman play “33 Variations” - while I was recovering from a broken foot & arrived in her dressing room on crutches with my camera around my neck...still at it. Not taking any time to recover. She looked at me and said “what the hell happened to you?! Go sit down! You need to take care of yourself!” When Jane Fonda speaks YOU LISTEN! She was having knee problems at the time so we Kind-of looked out for each other! One night she mentioned that her pal Bob was coming to the show & I assumed she meant HIM but didn’t want to be too eager! She wanted me to be there & told the press reps Chris Boneau @cbo523 & Matt Polk @mp3mp of #BoneauBryanBrown @bbbway to make sure it happens! So in walks #RobertRedford & the tears, history, friendship & the love just filled the room! It was quite emotional..lots of inside jokes and memories! She was thrilled he loved the show & her in it! She had been away from Broadway for 46 years & she proved she could return with grace ! This is honestly just one of the memories that Jane gifted me - she is one of the most generous people & at 83 years young can shut down a red carpet & stun us with her timeless beauty STILL!
