Young wildebeest begin to stir in the fiery pre-dawn mist. Soon they will join thousands of others in a collective parade across the Mara. These youngsters are particularly vulnerable to attacks from predators and to the risk of being trampled in a sea of hooves as the herds push across rivers and up steep banks.
