The remaining warmth can be toned out. ❗️ Yes there are times when you don’t need to lift this high! Example would be if you are wanting to achieve a warm caramel color. Lifting this high would mean you have to go back and add warmth to get the correct tonality result. Another example would be if you are doing darker, more pigmented vivid colors.
