Parallels between Hannibal 3.02 Primavera and Bright Eyes by John Everett Millais 1877 The author of this work is prominent English painter John Everett Millais, the youngest student at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, which he began attending at age of ten and also one of the main founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. This group was established in opposition to the conventions of the time and was based on the painting traditions before the Renaissance painter Raphael on whose work and style the academy was teaching. The main elements of this group are the bright color, fidelity to nature and attention to detail, which can also be seen in this Millais painting. It is a portrait of Florence, daughter of the English writer Sarah Coleridge. The girl is clouded in strong red colors with a direct, sincere expression and her photographic depiction is proof of Millais' artistic genius. . Swipe .
