Oftentimes, it’s the story you tell yourself that determines the way you’ll move forward. You can either choose to see the negative or the positive. Life is all about the silver lining. Gleaning pieces of hope from the ash. Learning to see the bit of light that protrudes through the darkness. .   Maybe someone ended a relationship. Or maybe they broke your heart in another way. You’re allowed to grieve and mourn what you’ve lost. But you shouldn’t just fixate on the negative. You should also see the positives. Maybe in that relationship, you were able to uncover much about yourself, your heart, and the ways in which you show up. .   Because the purpose of your journey is for you to grow, to learn, and to continue stepping into your power. And a part of that comes from heartbreak. From the moments where you must pick yourself up, walk away, and move on. .   An attempt doesn’t always “fail” because you weren’t good enough. Sometimes, it was the wrong time, the wrong person, or the wrong situation. Or it could have been that you, or another individual, had some extra growing to do. And that’s ok. Every experience grants you the wisdom needed to move forward and to construct the life you desire. There is no shortcut. .   Life is a journey you must venture through. You will get your heart broken and mess up. But that’s ok. It’s your outlook that will make the difference. Choose to see your progress, rather than your setbacks.
