This is why I make my clothes - even basics like a white t-shirt. This is rtw from an eco brand. It is made from fair trade organic cotton, by garment workers who are paid a living wage. But the fabric is thin and cheap and they’ve used mass cutting methods to cut the garment which is why the side seam twists the first time it’s washed. This one is going to the charity shop as I’ve had enough. I’ve only found one brand of rtw t-shirts that uses good quality fabric and cuts on the straight grain. I also have a motherlode of organic jersey in various shades in my stash which will be turned into more basics for my wardrobe. When I have my energy back!
