Time to upgrade the loadout, #Soldier! Soldiers will see the M4/M16 rifle and the M249 light machine gun replaced by the XM5 rifle and XM250 LMG. Units with Soldiers that engage in close-quarters combat including #infantrymen, cavalry #scouts, combat #engineers, #medics and forward observers will be among the first to receive the weapons and expected to get them by the fourth quarter of 2023. #ArmyTech #TechTuesday
