Cindy Sherman’s breakthrough work ‘Untitled Film Stills’ made between 1977 & 1980 is a series of sixty-nine black-and-white photographs where the artist appears in various fictitious characters employing elaborate makeup, costumes, and props to transform herself into different female roles inspired by film and television.
