My entry for the @laikastudios Fanart contest!! I’m excited to share my creation, I was inspired by Laika’s beautiful use of color and patterns in their storytelling. The Other Mother is tearing a rift in the portal, thus opening windows to other films in the Laika universe, giving us a glimpse of their respective characters. Coraline watches as this unfolds, suspended in the web. Laika inspired me to pursue a career in art and animation, and I’m grateful to have been shown the world of stop motion through these wonderful films.
