It is always my favorite to document traditional tribal knowledge restoring the lands Indigenous peoples’ have successfully managed since time immemorial. For this assignment I traveled over to the Fort Belknap Reservation and followed a group of Aaniiih and Nakoda young adults as they work to restore the prairie ecosystems on their reservation.
