I took the kids to Sheffield’s Graves Gallery today. We got the bus and they all took sketch pads. It was absolutely fecking wonderful. They all loved it and found individual artworks that they wanted to sit and sketch. Jasper excitedly said, ‘maybe one day you’ll have an exhibition mummy’ 😭❤️🤞🏻They’re such huge supporters of my artwork. My biggest fans, and I’m their’s too. I have a lot of dread when I take all of them out solo, (particularly as Peg is now sans shit nappy….. ) but it wasn’t a shit storm. It was actually enjoyable. AND we stumbled across a dinosaur Lego trail to follow around the city centre (less enjoyable in my opinion…) AND then we had a nice lunch where I guzzled a glass of Prosecco (mucho enjoyable). AND Peggo didn’t shit herself. We then got the bus home again and they’ve been on screens ever since. A winning summer holiday day IMOI.
