Huge thanks to our collector and supporter @sylviabourne for welcoming us to her incredible home for a journey through her breathtaking art collection for the filming of the next edition of “Call Your @mtartagency Agent”. I was delighted to place this strong work of art by the Argentine artist @elisainsua in such an important collection! Insua’s work explores the limitations of excess and abundance. Her pieces are about consumerism, opulence, ostentation and luxury and is also a critique of it. She is inspired by pop culture, especially by the world of rap and hip hop–with its explicit lyrics and its unapologetic “bling”. Gold (as an element and as a color) is also a persisting component of her work, both in relation to the sacred and the profane. She has done many institutional shows and exhibited at many art fairs including @zonamaco .
