Posted @withregram • @ragenails 🦇💀Bats & Skulls!💀🦇 It’s time for the first mani of spooky season!!! Decided to join in on the first #PolishedPolarBearChallenge for October: BATS/SKULLS! . I found myself inspired by How Quaint - Even The Rabble from the @redeyedlacquer villain quad. With Maleficent as my aesthetic compass, I went with flaming skulls, where I tried my hand at the “pond” technique to get more depth in the flames. I love how it came out! . However, my black stamping polish is apparently running quite low 😂 So, for the 2nd hand, I went a bit simpler. I’m still struggling with the damned layered bats pattern on the CJS plate, but I’m getting there! Hopefully I’ll get better results with a fresh bottle of stamping polish 😁 . Went with a matte finish, hoping it’d help bring out the layered details in the stamping. I love the end result! This is the first time I’ve had a full set of matte nails - I think I might fall for this lovely, silky texture 👀🖤 . Thanks for the challenge @polishedpolarbear !
