When it came to which shark to draw next I couldn't mako my mind up 🦈
These predatory sharks live in the open ocean reaching incredible speeds of up to 45mph, the fastest of any shark!🏁
A special adaptation of the blood vessels allows them to reach these high speeds by regulating their body temperature higher than the surrounding water.🌡
These sharks have a global distribution but are unfortunately threatened by targeted fisheries and bycatch leading to them being listed as endangered on the IUCN redlist 🎣
