A few weeks ago, we introduced the world to 'Babs,' the first female panther to return to the Northern Everglades in 43 years. We took a risk following her story. There was no guarantee any of us would see her again. But she returned. And there's a moment (our only daylight footage of her) as she approaches down a long green corridor and, at the very last second, glances directly at the camera. It's as if she says, "I see you all out there." All the faces lit up by her image soon in cinemas, schools, living rooms, airplanes. And all those who will learn her story and the importance of that wild green corridor behind her.
