We took "one giant leap" 53 years ago – and it was only the beginning.
This #InternationalMoonDay, we not only celebrate the first time a human stepped foot on the lunar surface during Apollo 11, but we also look forward to even more “firsts” when we go back to the Moon through @nasaartemis. From landing the first woman on the Moon, to making scientific discoveries about the Moon's South Pole, we're just getting started. And we can't wait to explore.
