Tonight I felt like a Cognac based drink so looking through Difford’s Guide this had promise. It’s by Milo Rodriguez of London.
Angel’s Share No.1.
In ml. 1 Spoon Marmalade, 60 Cognac, 7.5 Licor 43, 15 Lemon Juice, 7.5 Sugar Syrup.
In appearance it was an Orange cocktail! Quite tasty as well. The marmalade is very important, too sweet and it could end up being cloying but a sharp tangy one and yes, nice. There is a touch of vanilla in the aftertaste and it’s nicely balanced sour. Perhaps the Cognac got a bit lost so it’s not worth using the best one in the house 7.5/10.”
