The 93,000 square kilometer meadow rekindles hope for an ocean nation battling on the frontlines of climate change. Through equitable, science-based management and the development of the world’s first blue carbon market, the country is now poised to lead the global fight against the climate crisis while strengthening its economies, communities, and invaluable marine ecosystems.
