Let's discuss: I post this not as an indictment of #NickCannon because that's between him and the women who continue to bear him children, but because the conversation around #LoriHarvey and #MichaelBJordan splitting is so interesting to me. Folks vacillate between labeling women #golddiggers and then saying they "fumbled the bag" if they are no longer in a relationship with a rich and successful man. None of us know why they broke up, but we should know that not all women want to "lock it down." And just like men, those women are out here dating and doing what they want. What we DO know is that the #patriarchy is alive, thriving and abundant.
