5 years of LA living…💭
Here are some things I’ve learned over the years in no particular order ⬇️
•The @erewhonmarket membership is worth it✅
•I call LA ‘home’ but truly Manhattan/Hermosa Beach is my home.🌊My safe space, where I can retreat in nature & serenity & out of the chaos that is the city; I can only do city life for spurts of time
•Most people are transplants & living here with a goal in mind or to follow a dream; in turn, friendships can be fleeting. Hold onto the ones the make this crazy place feel like home 💛
•I will never fully comprehend gas prices being $6/gallon⛽️
•Majority (let’s be honest all) of my friends have come from fitness. Fitness is much deeper than the physical.. find your community of like minded individuals 🙏🏼
•lately, I think a lot about if this is my forever home. I’m *manifesting* to be able to afford a home one day but only time will tell. You all know the market 💸🏡
•therapy will change your life
•boundaries will change your life (still working on those)
•everyone smells like Santal 33 (myself included)
•with traffic + the city being so big, there are many times where I’ve felt alone/lonely (wishing I could just hop on a subway to meet friends) BUT being with myself has given me the space to learn so much about who I am❤️🩹
•A lot of what goes on here is Instagram vs reality; so always remind yourself to stay in your lane & off the comparison train 🚂
•I’ve spent ages 23-28 here; LA, thank you for allowing me to truly be myself & grow into the woman I know is capable of much more than fitness. & a big thank you to you all for being on this journey with me 🫶🏼 excited for the next 5 xo
