I am writing to you from New York, where I spent the day putting the final touches to my upcoming solo exhibit of Puberty, which opens tomorrow (June 24) at @fotografiska.newyork - I would love to see you there! I’ll be showing work from my book Puberty, as well as a new video piece I created for the occasion. The exhibition is curated by Meredith Breech and will be on view all summer, until August 22nd 🌈 The opening night will be this Friday, June 24 from 6-11. I’ll be doing an artist talk in conversation with @elizabethrenstrom , (former) Senior Photo Editor of the New Yorker, and VICE’s @mxalyzaenriquez , of VICE Media’s Gender Spectrum Project, followed by an after-party hosted by @moodringnyc with special cocktails and mocktails 💫 On Sunday June 26th, I will be hosting a zine making workshop at the museum in the morning, followed by a book signing party in the afternoon - the museum has copies of my book available, or you can also bring your own copy for me to sign 🧡 Link in bio to rsvp to all 3 of these events 🥰 xo Laurence
