We overbook ourselves to fit in as many clients as possible but it comes at a cost. We always go out of our way to accommodate people before we think about our own mental and physical health. It’s so important to schedule some downtime throughout the day especially if you’re working more than 8 hours a shift. It’s no surprise that our job is very physically and mentally demanding and we ALWAYS need to be on our A-game. So if you don’t schedule an appropriate break throughout your day, it can cause a lot of anxiety and stress. At the end of the day It’s not fair to you or your client. A healthy hairstylist creates a healthy work environment….
