I promised I wouldn’t spam here but I’m just so totally in awe of Johanna Went and I’m sure you will be too. She’s the cult LA performance artist who used to play alongside bands like Fear and the Germs in the 1980s punk scene and whose transgressive, totally chaotic, absurdist, feminist, depraved and often gory performances pre-dated riot grrrl, Lady Gaga’s meat dress and Peaches.
