Her book “Some Of It Was Real” is a tense game of cat-and-mouse between two antagonistic characters who are falling in love, in spite of themselves. One is a psychic who doubts her abilities, and the other is a cynical journalist set on exposing her to prove that he himself is not a fraud. It’s an unflinching exploration of identity, trauma and transcending the past.
