“Block Party” was one of my all time favorite paintings. After multiple passes and paint overs, in a fit of frustration, I covered nearly the entire piece in off white house paint. It was so satisfying to let go. I slowly added elements of line work and color back in which resulted in a much looser and abstract piece. It hung in my living room for a bit and was eventually sold to a lovely couple who gave it a prominent place in their gorgeous home. “Block Party” is now AVAILABLE as a limited edition signed “ORIGICLEE” A hybrid between an archival giclee print on fine art paper and an original painting as I add new marks, lines and color with pastels and colored pencils. 13” x 19” with white border.
