#HGStreet / Empathy by @annapurna.ag — About the collection Empathy is a graduation collection designed to reimagine fashion in a post apocalyptic era where human kind decides to take a step back and allows the earth to heal on its own terms. It aims to challenge the present notion of sustainability by using unorthodox materials that last longer to create a utility oriented Streetwear collection. In a world where fashion is limited to the seasons defined by the west, this monsoon collection redefines the rules. About the Designer Annapurna is a fashion designer and artist. I create designs that engage complex human emotions by evoking questions about the everyday choices we make. My design process involves writing poems, paintings, creating settings and finally designing the garment- the centrepiece of the entire experience- an organised chaos.
