Some of the best garden parties in the history of this world were seen at Versailles during the 18th century. French folk dressed up proper enough to be mistaken with a new kind of flower emerging from the green grass. Everyone came with their sandwiches and reasons to celebrate- big or small. But as time went by over the centuries, they left something behind- inclusivity. Their celebration and fashion are beautiful without bounds but contain specks of ignorance of the other rich cultures in the world. Somewhere in the privileged party of it all, the whiteness of their culture blinded them. Rochs’ idea is a romanticised version of Fête in the 21st century!
