Somewhere in Belgium 😳 👇 follow for more ! @ksenia_hound Since childhood, I have loved listening to fairy tales and folklore. And dreamed of magical worlds filled with dragons and trolls. As a teenager, I started writing my first stories as a rapper. I released records, even started touring and creating my own universe where I could tell these stories. In my latest project, I combined all of the above with my work as a sculptor. Recycling, rap, nature and sculpture, - explains the author of the project, Danish artist Thomas Dumbo. - My new creation is called "7 trolls and a magic tower" and is a fairy tale told through sculptures and words hidden in the forest. Everything is made from recycled materials. The height of the seven trolls varies from 7 to 18 meters, the tower on the hill - 17. The project took about 25 weeks to build by a team of 15 people. “We mostly used old supermarket shelves, pallets and branches from fallen trees,” says Thomas ⠀ The place for placing the sculptures was also chosen not by chance: confined to the reserve, but accessible to the public, it was once used for clay extraction, which formed its diverse landscape: hills and flat areas, reservoirs and remains of structures and equipment - an ideal environment for placement trolls here! There are 7 of them in total, hidden in the forests or waiting for random travelers right on the paths. Each has its own story and role in the story.
