What the sign said!

We were walking along @rowdtla and saw this sign and knew we had to take a picture in front of it.
After having met and spoken about a multitude of things, we realized there was this thing that we both knew within ourselves whenever we hit a hurdle. That thing we knew and felt was that we would always be fine.
That’s not to say we would always be fine because we had the means our whole lives. It was rather that we knew we would always be fine because we would actively choose life and to fight for it.
Life presents a whole load of hurdles and before we even realize them, our mindset can either carry us through or let us get swept away.
As we go into Pride month, this is a little message for all our LGBTQ+ siblings out there.
Your situation may be hard at the moment. It may be hard for a little longer too and when you feel weighed down by the fight that you have to fight, just remember all the good times that you have had and all of the bad times that YOU pulled yourself through.
YOU did that. YOU used your smarts, your consciousness, your mindfulness, your will power to think of a way to get out of that bind. In all of those moments, you chose to live and fight. You’re incredible.
You are strong. You are capable. You are able to do anything you put your mind to.
You are going to be fine.
You’ve got this.
