A classic shot of Jimmy improvising the Stairway To Heaven’s solo with his 1971 Gibson EDS-1275 at Ahoy in Rotterdam, Holland (Netherlands)
This was the first warm up show out of two to get ready for the upcoming 1975 US Tour.
There’s a rare performance of ‘When the Levee Breaks’ in this concert, and since Jimmy had injured his finger, he had to drop the more demanding ‘Dazed and Confused’ and instead for the time being play ‘How many More Times’ which hadn't been played in a while in the following concerts.
Jimmy starts off the show in the same clothes he wore at the last 3 shows in New York’s Madison Square Garden in July 1973. He then changes jackets just like he did at those 1973 shows after the first couple of songs. Then at the end when they come back for the encore he has changed into different pants. They would be playing for the first time ‘Sick Again’, ‘In My Time of Dying’, ‘Trampled Underfoot’, ‘Kashmir’ and ‘The Wanton Song’ (which unfortunately wouldn't last too far into the US '75 tour.)
Setlist
Likely includes: Rock and Roll, Sick Again, Over the Hills and Far Away, When the Levee Breaks, The Song Remains the Same, Rain Song, Kashmir, No Quarter, The Wanton Song, Trampled Underfoot, Moby Dick, In My Time of Dying, Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog.
