Pictured here in 1973, one of the six Outspan Orange cars built by Brian Waite Enterprise to promote the citrus brand. ⁠ With a 48-inch wheelbase and an engine that sits beneath the dashboard, the unusual design made an appearance in yesterday's Platinum Jubilee Pageant in London. In a spectacle that leaned on British eccentricity and the Commonwealth, the tiny motor was a suitable fit; the Outspan estate's proprietor, Eric Walker, also owned the Treetops Estate in Kenya.
