Hairstyles in the 80s consisted of sleek updos and voluminous layers. In order to create these looks, we would hairspray to ensure hold. Hairspray previously contained compounds called chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) until it was discovered that CFCs were depleting the ozone layer and preventing UV rays from entering the planet. This was then banned and replaced with hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), but unfortunately, this alternative was not any better. That's why we're thrilled to have found a solution—read all about it on @fekkai's blog through the link in the bio.
