Today we finished transplanting 9,000 of our 20,000 “Sweet Ann” strawberry plants for this seasons June planting. We always plant a smaller amount of strawberries for this second annual planting because the plants mature more quickly in the warmer weather and we experience more product competition this time of year and just don’t have the time it requires to tend to a larger crop. It is the first time we have made this planting in 4 years. Let’s see how it goes and enjoy the ride! @kikincharro
