To tell the truth, I didn’t even wanna go to check out the Rainbow Falls spur trail on the way to Indian Head in the Adirondacks. I was tired and didn’t wanna expend any energy other than which was required to to hike up to My main destination (Indian Heads summit). . I don’t even bother trying to shoot waterfalls unless it’s cloudy or in a shaded area…that’s just how I prefer my waterfall shots usually. I figured the light would be harsh, so I was really just going to view the waterfall. . Once I got there, the falls weren’t flowing a helluva lot, but I thought the 150 foot waterfall was really nice to look at. . I decided to wait around for a bit to let the scene develops and to give my eyes a chance to find something that might be worth shooting. Sometimes this proves to be fruitful, and sometimes not. . All of a sudden, the suns rays started to hit at a certain angle and this is the shot that materialized.
