EBU has confirmed this morning that United Kingdom🇬🇧 will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. 🔹BBC will organize the event, although will collaborate with representatives of UA:PBC to include Ukrainian 🇺🇦 elements in the shows. 🔹The search for next year's Host City will begin this week 🔹Ukraine will automatically qualify for the Grand Final along with the Big 5 🇮🇹🇫🇷🇩🇪🇪🇸🇬🇧 🔹Logo reflecting unique circumstances of staging to be revealed later Tim Davie, Director-General of the BBC said in the EBU's statement: “It is a matter of great regret that our colleagues and friends in Ukraine are not able to host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.Being asked to host the largest and most complex music competition in the world is a great privilege. The BBC is committed to making the event a true reflection of Ukrainian culture alongside showcasing the diversity of British music and creativity.
