“We plan to be carbon neutral by the year ___.”
Carbon neutral is a term I’ve seen thrown around recently and wanted to share some information on what it all means. I am in no way saying it’s bad when companies claim this title. It definitely is better than nothing but I think some companies take advantage of the general population not knowing and make it sound like there doing great sustainable practices within their company.
Companies should be working to lower their carbon footprint within their company and not just throwing money to an organization to make them feel better.
