“Most of my waking time is spent in our labs, exploring ideas we hope might shape the future. But I also have an interest, verging on obsession, with the past.
This is not about nostalgia. It’s about understanding and celebrating the progress that has been achieved, learning from it and building on it.” – James Dyson
We celebrate engineering icons in Dyson spaces around the world.
James and Jake Dyson are pictured here in the Mini, that now sits in our Malmesbury technology campus. It’s been cut in half to show the daring design that inspired James during his art school days in the 1960s, and continues to inspire our engineers today.
