The Sex Pistols sang “God Save the Queen” originally named “No future” in the name and time of “Punk”. It would later be a song that became a hit on the billboards however given it’s nature and lyrics juxtaposing an overwhelmingly sense of patriarchy throughout England. It was represented as a blank on the charts. A distant memory as something then shunned and decades later glorified, glamorised, framed and profited by those same establishments.
Those establishments - still to this day allow millions in the UK alone to sit in poverty. Whilst Queenie is celebrated and cuts to those that need it most are made around the country. A fascist regime if I ever did see one
