Have you had a wine that makes you fall in love all over again?⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I’ve had Grenache before, but for some reason or another I just hadn’t been drinking it recently - my loss! ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ This @odonatawines 2016 Santa Lucia Highland Grenache was a Christmas present from a family friend who knew I’ve been trying to branch out on my wine journey. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Odonata Winery is a boutique winery on River Road in Salinas in Monterey County. They are one of the few Monterey County wineries to make sparkling wines, including a sparkling rose from sangiovese. If you’ve been following me, you know I have a fondness for sparkling rosé anything...⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I had enjoyed a Garnacha rosé recently and thought I would open this bottle the other day and honestly it was a showstopper for me.
