When I was last in Austin TX, a year ago, I told my friend I wanted to go to this new spot called @denadacantina he'd never heard of it. Understandable, it was brand new and in a bit of a soft opening mode. Soon as I walked in I knew this will be a hot spot! We were essentially the only ones in the bar, so I asked owner @mrbostick to make a mezcal negroni. (It's not his 1st rodeo, he also owns @halfstepbar). To both of our delight he claims I am the 1st off menu cocktail he made in the new bar (I think it should be on the menu with my name)! In the empty dining room I captured my cocktail (see last pic).
Flash forward this year, and I needed to revisit. 1st try there was a long ass line, no shade, and a packed parking lot (my hunch was right). Tried again a few days later with success! Simple flavorful tacos and drinks in a colorful no fuss environment. Happy 1yr Anniversary @denadacantina
