Sigh. They can’t all be winners. But, if I’m looking at the glass half full - I still have a gain 👏🏼 I bought low. I sold a little of it at the high. But held on… too long I’m afraid. The bulk of my portfolio is made up of index funds or ETFs. I like their exposure to a larger part of the market, industry or sector and they are inexpensive. Win win for beginner or advanced investors. But I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t have a love for also choosing individual stocks, which in total make up about 10% of my portfolio.
