Woke up this morning at a loss for words and hydration. So after big glass of water, I’m able to say that I am in awe of the people in this city. The support I’ve been shown has been amazing. Though I’m exhausted from last night, it gave me energy. It reminded me of the purpose for @inkwellbar. Last night also reminded me that I know a lot of very very dope people. And to see those very dope people there to support me and this upcoming bar is very humbling. Thank you to @tonememphis for the space, thanks to @shari_haley for a great food spread and not letting me freak out when stuff was going left, thank you @author_ashe for bringing care and enthusiasm to the bar, thanks to @jaredjaybboyd for being “Jay B” no matter what 😂, thanks to @averellmondie for the foliage, thanks to my wife for helping me pull this off, and thanks to everyone for your support.
